Thanks Braves! (Hopefully everyone here is smart enough to figure that out... I'm trying to include you too WolfBird)

Also, there was/is already a safety plan in place and the issues are already being addressed. Not really a huge deal, very sensational news station though. Moving along.

According to the AJC article, this was known since the beginning and the university put an alarm system in place so that if a fire due break out, they'll be located to its location immediately. That's why the fire marshal certified occupancy

Luckily, GSU hasn't been associated with "on fire" yet this season... (LOL, sorry, couldn't resist)

You get temporary certificate of occupancy for multi-phase projects, anyway. FAKE NEWS. Plus, sprinkler companies are private and put all kinds of crap on their reports to generate business. It's up to the designers and code officials to determine what is required.

You mean thanks Atlanta Fulton County Recreation Authority. They were the ones responsible for stadium maintenance at the end of the day.

Everyone I have talked to says this is a non issue and will be addressed after the season.

Dumb...so dumb. This is why I dont watch the news anymore. I dont think I have ever been mistaken for a GaSt fan and that was about as irritating to watch than an episode of the Daily Show for Rush Limbaugh.

This is what we live with daily in this town where Cox owns Channel 2, WSB Radio, the AJC, the Atlanta Business Chronicle and a a couple of non English newspapers. They have too much Dawg in them. They are seemingly in the bushes on Decatur Street waiting for any negative press about GSU while shrugging off any but the largest positive GSU sports story.

Braves & Fulton County Combined. I'm sure the Braves knew as well.

Everyone knew and we were still allowed occupancy. So the real question is who tipped the media to a non story and why?

At Summerhill redevelopment, local brewery Halfway Crooks tapped as debut tenant

Finally, they are beginning to announce something on the development side. And a brewery at that, just a block east of the Stadium.

I purchased some discounted Club seats so I got to see the nicer part of the stadium, and it was nice. I only stayed for the 1st quarter before joining my fellow Mountaineers. As I left I told the couple sitting beside me I did not want to ruin the game for them yelling for App. They were very gracious and mentioned they were glad to have us in this section and glad we brought a crowd which they appreciated seeing. Very nice couple and made the day all the nicer.

Thanks guys for coming! Usually I do the "stop by the tailgate" post, but I got selfish Saturday and used my pregame side line passes. Thank you for making the game.
