I think most of us are pleased that we can get a bunch of high schoolers into our stadium to play a game. Great for recruitment.

Not to mention the bigger crowds.

All joking aside that's about what the stadium should look like when they clip the upper RF stands back. No need for a 2nd scoreboard, and you really could retrofit the right end zone seats to mirror the left end-zone for I would assume not a lot of $$$/time. You're going to have a pretty nice place to play when it's all said and done.

Just thinking.
Those chairs are not at a 45 degree angle. LOL. You're overly concerned about seats you will never sit in.

I don't think the upper RF stands get touched. It's close to $10M to remove them. Money better spent elsewhere. What I hope is that a concourse is built on the east side and a grandtand from the new east side stands up to the club level to balance off both sides of the stadium.

That side is listed as visitor seats based on the graphic posted earlier. No idea if that's where they'd begin allocating visiting schools though.

Single Game Tickets: Tickets on sale August 1 at 9:00 a.m.

Tennessee State - $30
Memphis (Family Weekend) - $30
Troy (Homecoming) - $30
South Alabama - $25
Appalachian State - $25

Prices I believe are for Green Sections.

Those prices are great.

The seats are not at a 45 degree angle. Some of you guys flunked geometry. They are at about a 10-15 degree angle at most. Maybe less from eyeballing it. You will hardly have to turn your head.

So much this. I actually was at GSU stadium for seat selection months ago and there's no way they are at a 45 degree angle in the lower or club level. I physically sat in multiple seats on the west sideline on both sides of the "angle" and neither are bad at all for field or scoreboard view.

Of course the people on the east sideline will obviously have to turn their head to see the main jumbo scoreboard but there is another smaller scoreboard in the North end zone that I'm certain will be used as well as ribbon boards throughout the entire stadium. I believe in Phase II they will adjust locations of the ribbon boards but for the 2017 season they are remaining in their original Turner Field locations.

Also, I'm sure it's been mentioned previously but just a heads up that there will be beer sold in the lower level, specialty beer in the club. Yay for alcohol! 02-13-banana

What game has anyone ever been at where they never have to turn their head? Unless you're in the end zone seating how is that possible?

I did, it doesn't separate visitors from general seating. Thought someone with your clout may be able to tell us if visitors will be along the sideline or in the endzone. Call your contacts and get back to us...

Well there is the point that 1) GSU has no visitor seating and I do not know where Apps allotment will be. 2) don't care where you sit.

Call the ticket office and they can likely tell you.

While you guys get pissy with each other, I want to congratulate Georgia State. The first step toward getting better is getting better recruits. Having your own stadium (and getting it done quickly) is a great coup. Of course it's too big right now. But win games and that will change.

Good for you guys. The league just got better.

Agreed. Not sure why these GS and App guys are so salty. 07-coffee3

Sincere apologies, I expected too much. Sounds like I probably have a better relationship with the AD and staff. I'll text one of the half dozen former App employees down there.
