Because most of the AAC have been members in good standings with the have-not's for some time this will not come as a shock.
Sorry some of you don't like having negative names attached to your programs based on circumstances and not merit but welcome to America, because that is what Americans do.
I do look forward to seeing how your teams perform on the field this year, so best of luck to each program, and I hope you have a successful season.
you are projecting your own personal sunbelt views from your sunbelt perspective on everyoe else
your in a position where your conference as a whole has no chance at respect and the only way any respect comes anyones way it will be on an individual team level.
that is not the situation here actually it is the opposite, in c-usa almost every team had a "dogfight for themselves" mentality and absolutely non preached conference
since joining the AAC everyone preaches conference, even most of the other g4 talk about our inflated egos think we are better than we are a a conference, true or not its shows the unity and greatness we think this league could be. go to every single teams official twitter or twitter of the AD's. if you'l scroll throughl find all of them cheering on UCF in the BCS and congratulating them after. youll find them cheering on UConn during the tourney and posting tweets about having the best postseason winning percentage from all tourneys. all our coaches talk about this league as a good platform for recruiting.
and just last week aresco was in ecu saying we are knocking on the door of being a power confernce, they right now its the p5 plus 1
and in the new "arrangement" its actually become more conference oriented, with auto bids gone the devaluing of the "bcs bowls" with only 4 playoffs spots and 5 major conference. the value of conference strength has been amplified. a few years ago the arguments were "i think usc is better than texas" today you are 10x more likely to here debates like "i think the pac12 is better than the big12"
in the sunbelt you are in the dog fight for yourself but that isnt the case here. your perspective isnt our perspective
