Great hire for the risk takers.

Will likely get you into the playoff, on probation, or both.

Dang, UH is all in on guys in football and basketball that the NCAA infractions department has on speed dial.

Good Hire.

Guy might actually stay at Houston longer than 2 years.

true Rath but Ohio State, Miami U, Baylor, UNC, and a host of others have shown that cheating does in fact pay off

Kudos to UH for recognizing this before anyone else in the AAC and moving forward with it

Curious what the buyout will be with his history.

Definitely a risk, but could be a good hire.

I was hoping he would go to South Florida or to a different conference all together. He's going to be a thorn in all of our sides.

Yep. USA Today just backtracked, changing "has decided" to "closing in".

Apparently USA Today is confirming it...but how would they know before the local Houston people?

After the way he left Tennessee I would never hire this guy.

AL.com and Sports Illustrated now reporting on USA Today's story. This could get embarrassing if they are wrong.

I think it's been proven that the benefits of winning outweigh the punishments of cheating. At this point, I'd take the dirtiest basketball coach available if he could get ECU into the tournament.
