true Rath but Ohio State, Miami U, Baylor, UNC, and a host of others have shown that cheating does in fact pay off

Kudos to UH for recognizing this before anyone else in the AAC and moving forward with it

Curious what the buyout will be with his history.

Yep. USA Today just backtracked, changing "has decided" to "closing in".

Apparently USA Today is confirming it...but how would they know before the local Houston people?

I think it's been proven that the benefits of winning outweigh the punishments of cheating. At this point, I'd take the dirtiest basketball coach available if he could get ECU into the tournament.
