Not a good start.
Stehling with a poorly placed ball on a slant where the WR had no separation.. Stewart on a run where OL failed to create any hole.. then a short pass to Stewart

quick slants are about positioning and location, not separation. The defender's hopes (in man) are that you throw high (so he can hit the arms) or that you throw it behind him as he undercuts the route. That's the 'tire throw'. Put it in about a 1 yard window and it's a completion for 4+ yards
