I am. As negative as I get, that Troy loss didn't surprise me nor completely ruin the season for me. It's Troy which sucks but they did almost beat Clemson. They destroyed New Mexico St. yesterday. They are solid.
Here's a prediction for you. We beat Rice and UTSA handily. We go to Baton Rouge...enter Tiger Stadium and officially end the coaching tenure of Les Miles. We did this exact thing to Curley Hallman in 1994. History will repeat itself.

We still should've beaten Troy. They may be the second best team in our schedule, but we are still better than them. They were just good enough to capitalize on our mistakes. No one else besides LSU is good enough to do even that. As long as we show up and execute, we go 10-2 and have a chance to go 11-1.

Besides Burt Jones.....Tommy Hopson....and Y.A. Tittle, name any other good QBs for LSU. They are rare.

Rohan Davey wasn't bad, but lesser than the aforementioned.
Saw Tittle a few years ago .. Still carried himself as if he could suit up tomorrow. Was impressed.

well, I might alter my prediction now. Orgeron could change things. Not totally surprised Miles is out but damn. LSU ruthless.
And yes, the fact that Troy isn't getting any votes in the new AP 25 is telling. That loss is going to haunt us all season.
