I am. As negative as I get, that Troy loss didn't surprise me nor completely ruin the season for me. It's Troy which sucks but they did almost beat Clemson. They destroyed New Mexico St. yesterday. They are solid.

Here's a prediction for you. We beat Rice and UTSA handily. We go to Baton Rouge...enter Tiger Stadium and officially end the coaching tenure of Les Miles. We did this exact thing to Curley Hallman in 1994. History will repeat itself.

We still should've beaten Troy. They may be the second best team in our schedule, but we are still better than them. They were just good enough to capitalize on our mistakes. No one else besides LSU is good enough to do even that. As long as we show up and execute, we go 10-2 and have a chance to go 11-1.

Miles will be fired at the end of the season, regardless of what happens in the Southern Miss game. He wont be fired mid-season.

they got one of the best rbs on the planet that is being misused....

Besides Burt Jones.....Tommy Hopson....and Y.A. Tittle, name any other good QBs for LSU. They are rare.

And yes, the fact that Troy isn't getting any votes in the new AP 25 is telling. That loss is going to haunt us all season.
