Western Michigan gets a TD on its possession. Two-point try is good. 53-45 Broncos. Buffalo's chance to tie now.

I don't think the Rockets D can stop the WMU rushing game, but their pass defense is terrible.
10-07-2017, 06:48 PM
Buffalo gets a touchdown and converts on the two-pointer. Tied at 53 going to the fifth overtime
10-07-2017, 06:53 PM
The game looks like it's being played in a vacant warehouse. What a sad crowd. We are very fortunate at Toledo to have great support.
10-07-2017, 06:54 PM
Buffalo gets a TD pass on a 3rd and 12 to go ahead. Bulls called for pass interference on the first two-point try (which was good). Trying again from the 17, Bulls can't make it. 59-53 Buffalo. Western's turn now.
10-07-2017, 06:57 PM
Western gets the TD. Broncos can win it, or it will be overtime #6.
10-07-2017, 06:58 PM
Going to a 6th overtime in Buffalo
10-07-2017, 06:59 PM
Well, CBS Sports is never gonna pick up a MAC game again after this. May last til Monday.
10-07-2017, 07:03 PM
Broncos get a TD, can't convert on the two-pointer. Buffalo's chance to win it or tie it (again) now
10-07-2017, 07:06 PM
Buffalo's tied it and can win it.
10-07-2017, 07:07 PM
Nope. Going to the seventh overtime.

10-07-2017, 07:14 PM

So with the Nevada win, the Rocket's two non-conference FBS wins were against two teams with a collective 2-10 record. Not blaming the Rocket's scheduling because these both looked to be worthy opponents at the time they were scheduled (and, recalling the game, it can be argued that 1-5 Tulsa was a worthy opponent anyway). However, what this means is that with the Rockets are about half way thru their season, I still don't have a solid feel about how the team stacks up or how it is likely to finish.

So the Rockets(minus 4 starters} held EMU to 15 points. UT seem to be better than a 5-1 SEC team(Kentucky). Rockets just need to clean up the
penalties, arm tackling, and be able to finish in the Red Zone. They did a better job of looking for the FB on pass coverage.
