EMU trying to lose again, missing the 2nd FG of the game. Still up by 4
Huskies and Eagles tied at 24 with 34 seconds left in regulation. EMU about to try a 42-yard field goal
Going to overtime in DeKalb
Does that game have radio/video coverage available without signing up through NIUs website??
OT begins: EMU has the ball first.
Eagles can't get a first down but get a field goal. Now it's NIU's turn
Huskies win it. 30-27 final
No surprise there. Both teams did what they always do.
Wonder how long EMU can keep finding ways to lose before they pack it in and just give up and give out. Six losses all 7 points or (mostly) less has got to take major toll on the morale.

Actually even if they had held on against NIU, UT would still have to beat NIU next week assuming NIU beats WMU (and Ball State and CMU)
EMU's coach coached them right out of that game. Once they got up by 2 TDs, he completely shut down the offense and basically told the world - I don't trust my QB to win this, so I'll try not to lose. Even at the end when they had a chance to drive for the winning score, he shut the offense down to put faith in a long field goal by the kicker who has been missing everything lately, rather then allowing his QB - you know the one people keep saying is the 2nd best in the conference - to make a couple plays that might get them a TD or at least a shorter field goal try.

They keep losing games they should have won in all these interesting ways - missed field goals, tageting penalty, blocked punt yesterday. I mean it must take a lot of work to come up with a new way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory week after week after week.

That us exactly how NIU lost to BC in first game going to the same end zone. Poetic.

Tulsa lost to SMU 38-34 Friday night
After the first quarter Akron and Buffalo are tied at 7
At halftime Akron leads Buffalo 14-13
At the half Miami of Florida leads North Carolina 7-6. When I listed the games for week 9 I had the Canes playing Virginia Tech. That's next week. Oops.

That is one empty stadium.
Going to the fourth quarter Akron still leads Buffalo 14-13. But the Bulls have the ball in the red zone.
Buffalo regains the lead over Akron. It's 20-14 with 14:25 left in regulation
Akron goes on a 91-yard drive (I think that's the right number) and regains the lead. Zips lead the Bulls 21-20 with 4:46 left.
