we could be Southern Miss whose last 2 wins came in their spring game. They're now at 16 losses in a row and have scored just 38 points in 4 games.
Maybe that's karma after them running up the score and putting 70+ on us a few years ago. They certainly haven't beaten us since.
The way other conference teams and south Alabama and Troy played against their opponents yesterday makes me feel worse. I'm really disappointed with how we played last night and all season so far. Other than the first quarter of a couple games, their hasn't been much positive to talk about IMO.

Last night looked just as bad in person. At least the Vandy fans were nice to us. Our folks made some noise for the size crowd we had.......just didn't have too much to cheer about. Opening the game with a 3-and-out was brutal. Our QB's seemed to have regressed......could be the pressure Vandy put on them. There was not much time to throw. Vandy also did a nice job jamming the WR's at the LOS.
1 QB has regressed IMO.
Agreed. I think McGee has got him (expletive deleted) in the head. He looks scared to just play like he can because of fear of making a mistake. JPs mistakes appear to be from trying to make something happen. Both get an earful every time they get back to the sideline but AB looks like he takes it much worse. Jmo.

True, the other one looked to be more in control........seemed to understand the play calls better, etc.

Perry seems to be a great guy. But he has never played well. He made these mistakes before McGee got here, so that isn't on McGee.

Regressed???
More like hasn't changed. AB is terrible under pressure. Blitz him, and he goes into panic mode. Reminds me of Rex Grossman. When they put pressure on him, he starts to throw like a little girl. AB isn't that bad, but when he can't stand in the pocket and throw, he becomes a liability. We'll have to live with his weakness, or start JP revolution part II. 05-stirthepot
I would be very surprised if JP isn't starting the next game.

I kind of wondered about that. It will be interesting to see who gets the nod.
I saw a team with JP at QB beat a ranked USM team at Legion Field.

It was under a different coach, just to note.

I didn't say it was. Read the post.
I would rather a QB make mistakes by trying to make something happen instead of not trying to make something happen.
Me too. And that's the way I see the situation as it currently stands.
I think MB is on McGee's payroll. 05-stirthepot
Yeah it could be worse Callaway could still be here.

It's pretty bad when someone who supports the team on a UAB message board is consistently ridiculed for taking that stance.
