Former President Barack Obama plans to commence a 27-day campaign sprint for Vice President Kamala Harris next week in Pennsylvania, an adviser to the Democratic presidential nominee’s campaign said, hoping his star power among Democrats can help propel her to the office he once held.

Openly concerned about Democratic complacency and acutely aware of razor-thin margins in polls, Obama — who, along with his wife, Michelle, is one of the party’s most popular figures — is seeking to help Harris in any way he can, aides have said.

Desperation setting in as democrats realize Kamala's chances are dimming.

Anyone recall how effective mom jeans was at campaigning for anyone other than himself?

Obama’s appeal is exclusively with people who are 100% guaranteed to vote against any Republican, no matter what. I suspect that he and his inner-circle are well aware of that, already. So if he’s devoting 27 days to campaigning, it’s hard to avoid the conclusion that Harris is currently struggling with that demographic. Or at least that Obama believes that she is.

They are having to shove Barack out there because Harris cant do it.

They are undergoing a collapse of support in Michigan. So much so that the senate seat is in jeopardy. Atlas Intel, the best pollster from 2020, shows the republican Rogers leading by 5 points. Trfalgar, another excellent pollster, shows that race tied. All of the recent presidential polls shows Trump up (Atlas has him up 4). So Michigan has become an emergency situation for the dems. You will likely see Obama doing ads specifically for dem candidates in Michigan.

Wisconsin is also in big trouble for Harris. The top two pollsters show Trump with a lead there, and that never happens in Wisconsin. Baldwin is only up 1 to 2 points there, and now she is avoiding being seen with Kamala when Harris is in the state.

And Casey in PA looks more and more like he's going to lose.
