Libertycon was awesome. Sold lots of books, had great conversations with old friends, learned lots of industry news, taught TWO 2-hour workshops on writing, landed book deals for two of my mentees. The highlight was Todd McCaffrey crossing the hall to say hi to me before I noticed him.

Damn.

My late summer and fall are taken up with other things, but for those who are looking for a relaxacon, I'll be going to Hallowcon in Dalton, GA, the weekend before Halloween. It's cheap to attend, and they feed you.

So I’m wrapping up Standing Among the Tombstones, and really enjoying the series. I’ve stuck strictly to the series, but are there other books I should be sprinkling in between? I thought I read something in one of the forwards that alluded to that.

Star Trek as far as OG show, OG and NEW movies. I've tried to get into the other shows they've done... and it just doesn't hit for me, nothing against them.
