Yes, Grizzley's is closed. I always enjoyed it but lots of folks don't like it smoked the way he did his ribs and que. They say it gives them heartburn.

Way to go Jackie - hired some more loser coaches!

Hey, Wiz! I heard you on the jams this morning. I noticed y'all are playing that Dixie Chicks version of Stevie Nicks' old tune(can't remember the name), I think it's "Changes".

Great song, and the Chix did it very nicely, plus their entire new album is awesome, the DxChx that is. Those girls are really talented, especially this day in age of country music, which 99% of it is phony, they are for real.

Oh yea, Rebs- 49 Huskers- 40!! Go Rebs!!!

I was making a tape for my little sister the other night but had the tube on. The Dixie Chicks were doing a concert and it was really good. I had always thought the other two girls were the better looking ones but the lead singer - don't have any idea what their names are - is really a doll. She has a beautiful complexion, nice teeth, sensuous mouth/lips but could stand to lose a few pounds.

Who will win between Ohio State and Miami? I say Miami, but both have managed to win by the skin of their teeth a couple of times this year. 03-razz

Yep. The first time I looked at my music log and saw that we were playing that, it almost made me feel like I was back at good ol' Wizard 106 in Tupelo. 03-wink

Love that song, and the name is actually "Landslide."

I was thinking more along the lines of Rebs - 38....Huskers - 28, but I'll go with yours 10.

I can help ya Still. The lead singer is Natalie Maines. The girl who plays fiddle is Marty Seidel, and the banjo/slide dobro/acoustic guitar player is Emily Robison. I saw them at the Pyramid the night we had played UNLV for homecoming. My friend Rob and I went up there after the game, checked into the hotel, and hit the Pyramid just in time to grab a couple beers and watch Willie Nelson open for them. What an energy draining day that was.

What do y'all think will happen in the Sugar Bowl with UGA and FSU? 03-wink

Willie Nelson was "opening" for them. Wow! You would have thought it was the other way around.

I do think they are a fine looking lot and very talented. I saw Barbara Mandrell in Memphis one time w/Statler Brothers. She was much smaller (little bitty woman) but beautiful and can play about 15 instruments.

She has more talent than Cutcliffe and Sherrill combined. (My sports related portion of this post.) 03-razz

"Landslide"....................dammitt!!!!!!!!!!! I knew that, but I couldn't remember. I have that cd at home and I'm at work, so I was trying to play it out in my head to remember the title and "Change" was all I could come up with.

By the way, Wiz, I don't care what the score is as long as we come out on top over the Huskers. Agreed?

And, Still i LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE westside. The daughter of the people who own it go to our church. It is delicious. I could use some of that caramel cake right about now too03-wink.

We were actually 'hoping' for something with a little more substance than just a plain on "something". I didn't literally mean SOMETHING.

Have you lost that LOVING feeling, Rx? Please, throw us a bone.
