How do you see the SEC Championship Game turning out?

Vote, then put down your predicted score at the bottom.

Arkansas catches Georgia looking towards the Sugar Bowl a bit too early. . . . I hope.

No disrespect, but the Dawgs are just too good, in my opinion.

I see it like this...

On the Ground - Arkansas is the #1 rushing team in the SEC and has a stable of running backs to choose from. Add Matt Jones and the option and the Razorbacks are a ground force. Musa Smith is one of the SEC's best backs for UGA, but I think on the ground, the edge belongs to Arkansas.

In the Air - Edge to Georgia. David Greene and DJ Shockley both are better passing QBs than Matt Jones, plus the WRs Georgia has are the best in the SEC. Edwards is flat out scary.

OL - Even. Stinchcomb for UGA and Shawn Andrews for UA are both All-SEC, if not All-American.

DL- Even. UGA has more depth I believe, but it's Arkansas that's #2 in rush defense in the SEC, and shut down some good running teams and RBs.

DB- Edge to Georgia. LBs are even, as Bua and Walls are tough to beat, but the secondary of UGA is better overall, though the best player of both secondaries is UA SS Ken Hamlin.

Special Teams - Even. Hogs have solid returner in Birmingham. UGA's PK Bennett is better though. Both teams have great abilities to block punts and field goals, which the game in the end could end up coming down to.

Overall - Looking at the message boards, UA is taking the game a lot more seriously than UGA, who's already packed for New Orleans (some even for Tempe). This reminds me too much of the game last year, where Tennessee had a Rose Bowl berth waiting, but came in overconfident and lost. On paper, UGA is the better team, but Arkansas has won their last 6. They've been through a lot of controversy and gutted out a tough start. After the Miracle on Markham, the confidence is right where it needs to be. Look for the upset in the last 2 mins of the game... Arkansas 23, Georgia 21.

Arkansas is a talented team and plays with a lot of heart. They have an excellent running game and on defense excellent corners and solid around play.

Georgia is as heathy as they have been since the year began. Musa Smith has never played better. The OL which was supposed to be a strength is finally living up to potential. All the playmakers are back, Damien Gary, one of the best punt returners in the nation is back in the lineup for the SECCG. Fred Gibson has fully recovered from his torn thumb tendon and Terrance Edwards retuned against Tech with a big game.

On defense I can't say enough about DE David Pollack, but another unrecognized star is DT Jonathan Sullivan #57. And of course Boss Bailey and Tony Gilbert at LB deserve mention.

Should be a war.

Georgia - 30
Arkansas - 21
