The path that we’re on currently is not sustainable. We can’t even afford our current entitlements, so expanding them massively as economic conditions become weaker would be idiotic.

I’m not even saying that from a right wing perspective. It’s simple reality and math. You can’t run a successful and cohesive country with unchecked illegal immigration, nationalizing most of the economy, and not hiking taxes on everyone by over 70-80%. Not feasible
