They don't need to. He's a weirdo that thinks only people with Children are allowed to participate in democracy. Perhaps he should talk to all those in our military who don't have kids?

And he may or may not have had sex with a couch. 03-wink

I see you got the "Vance is weird" memo. You do realize how absolutely hilarious that is given the kind of people that are on the left? He probably did talk to those in the military given he was a Marine.

...as a combat correspondent.

Sorry, I think it's weird to think you don't get a voice in democracy unless you have kids. But you do you.

He didn’t say that though. The entire point is that the degradation of the family over the last few decades has led to not just birth rate problems, but more degeneracy and unhappiness.

In my view, unhappiness and lack of purpose actually leads to political tribalism to fill that void. It all correlates together.

Exactly. The left is obviously attempting to misrepresent the intent of Vance's statements. He probably could have articulated it differently or better but his point was that we should have more family-focused people represented in government. He used the words "more voice" multiple times....not any different than when the left says blacks, gays, women, etc should have more of a voice. He didn't mean that only people with kids should be allowed to vote, merely that we should be electing more people with kids. I agree with him 100%.

As far as the old cat lady verbiage, dude wasn't wrong. Lol

Quote:“Did you see me on FOX Primetime recently? I needed to speak DIRECTLY to patriots like you about the serious issue of radical childless leaders in this country,” reads one Vance fundraising email from August 2021. “We can’t have people who don’t have a direct stake in this country making our most important decisions.

“We’ve allowed ourselves to be dominated by childless sociopaths - they’re invested in NOTHING because they’re not invested in this country’s children. Fighting back won’t be easy - our childless opponents have a lot of free time. That’s why I need YOU to stand with me.”

Another fundraising email reads, “Our country is basically run by childless Democrats who are miserable in their own lives and want to make the rest of the country miserable too… What I want to know is: why have we turned our country over to people who don’t have a direct stake in it?”
It’s not just ‘cat ladies’: JD Vance has a history of disparaging people without kids

Close enough!

Yeah exactly.

There’s no reason to scorn him now for comments he made three years ago, especially that he’s clarified his position repeatedly. It’s all in bad faith, trying to trick NPC voters into thinking he wants to start a new Handmaid’s Tale. It’s a pretty good litmus test to see how many people chase after the red dot on the wall when told to.

Wow. He's spot on. Just a little correction, he specifically points out childless radicals and sociopaths, not all childless people.

Vance is a Marine (tough thinking) and now as a politician he has to think about what he's gonna say and not go all Trump 2.0. He could gone a different route but have said the same thing. He's almost new into politics and I hope he learns from this. He should know that the whole MSM world is Pro-dictatorship/Socialist minded and are ready to pounce on anything that resembles an anti-Liberal view.
