Monarch, you should know by now not to just blindly accept the media narratives and claims on something Trump supposedly said. They are ALWAYS lying about this stuff.

As is always the case, they can argue those words were said but they ignored the context of what he said they led up to and/or followed it. Much like the bloodbath quote if he wasn't elected, he said those words but that was not remotely the context of what he actually said. He made the point the legislation they want on the automotive industry would be a bloodbath for Americans if he lost and they got it through.

Here he made the point earlier in the speech that Christians are a voting block that often do not vote as much as most other groups and it was key they come out just this once and vote. He said he was going to fix x, y and z if he won and thus those people who don't normally vote won't have to again if they don't want to. But this once its key and they have to. That was the actual context.

They are trying to pretend the context was there would be no more elections if he won, that was not remotely what he said. Just like they tried to pretend he said it would be a bloodbath of violence of he lost, that was not remotely what he said. It seems the bigger the lie, the more it deceives some people, and at worst people like you AM will blame Trump more than the media who KNOWS this is a lie but run with it anyway. So they try to tell the most outrageous and absurd lie they can knowing many will believe the lie and others will blame him instead of them.

I don’t want to distract from the main point, which is that there is NO comparison between poor phrasing by Donald Trump and true evil by the Democrat candidates and apologists.
