the battle to stay out of last place. You would think at least one Pirate would give the Eagles their props for winning the game today. I mean it isn't like it was a close game. That mighty USM team won by a whopping 18 points, yet no Pirate gives them their due. Why is that???

I am no ECU fan, but I'll give USM kudos - great win!

I was following this game knowing that the loser would play UCF.

I'm not sure which is a better draw for UCF. We swept ECU, but it's pretty hard to beat anyone 3 times in a season.

Southern Miss beat us, but we blew a lead.

I dunno - I guess it doesn't matter - UCF vs. ECU on Wed - winner plays Houston on Thursday.

congrats USM (how's that)

the lack of response is probably because most pirate fans have forgotten about basketball for their own personal emotional gain lmfao

Even though, I have you ignored, Charlie, props to USM. The reason that no ECU fans jumped on here to congratulate USM is because most of us gave up on this season, and have turned out attention to Baseball. We had all hoped that this basketball season would just go away quietly.

This is the one time we wish there were only 11 spots in the tournament!

You could argue that it's never gone on in Greenville, sadly. 03-weeping

I'd love for that to happen and I'd be happy for Golden Eagle fans, too.
