The Flagship Program suffers defeat!
WOW, Nice win for the Miners, especially after losing your stud! I wonder what it means for the Conference that the flagship program isn't even the toughest in its own state?

UTEP = Fans, support, and potential (and CUSA'a only NC)
UH = let's talk about the old SWC days

I think he's talking about all the 3's Houston put up tonight. To their credit they did make quite a few but it is nearly impossible to win when all you do is take low percentage shots.

I noticed Houston was very aggresive, but so were the MINERS! houston stayed in this game because of all those 3's yet there coach complains about the free throws, and boy does he whine! but the crowd got onto him, did anyone watch it on cstv? and how did it sound? with all that the miners have been through they are all right! NIT or the big dance they deserve post play!

I was expecting a fullhouse in El Paso, the crowd seemed less than enthusiastic and sparsely filled. I watched the CSTV broadcast which obviously is terrible tho. While UTEP may get more fans to their games atleast the U of H faithful are diehard, loud and aggressive.

Hey *******, we had 12,000 tonight. Good heavens a Cougar High fan is talking attendance smack to UTEP. Now that is funny.

It was sold out, there was at least 11,000 at the game, and it was loud, sour f'n grapes. 03-hissyfit

There were probably more folks at the Don Haskins Center tonight than have been at all of UH home games this season.

12,000, 2nd consecutive 12K crowd at the Don Haskins Center. That was the announced crowd and every seat was filled.

some season tickets apparently weren't used. It was sold out but everybody didn't show up. Penders delusions filled the rest of the seats.

Quite possibly the stupidest post from a Houston fan. And that takes some doing. I was at he UTEP game in Houston. Your crowd sucks. There were 4000 people there. And then, some of you all posted that you were disappointed UTEP did not bring more fans. How many UH fans do you think there were at the Don last night out of the 12K? 7 maybe 8? You are as whiny as your classless coach....

OJ, topic is reserved for schools that have decent athletic programs. I am sure you can start your 'My $h1t smells like roses because I graduated from Rice and you did not and because of it, I have been able to develop witty retorts to anybody who can see that Rice sports are a black eye to CUSA' thread. When we talk about US New & World Report Rankings, you can come back and beat your chest, ok? Now run along... 03-yawn

But OJ, you're a graduate of Rice, correct? That means you must be among the intellectual elite. How can you possibly think New Mexico is relavent when discussing two Texas schools? Please explain.
