It's a hard job to make Bragga look good. How could the pitching have gotten worse?

Losing 5-1 in the 5th. Already have 6 Ks through 5 innings, so we are on pace…

Sorry, make that now 6-1, still in the 5th. Parker getting uncharacteristically smacked around.

Parker cruises through the 6th, 1-2-3. To the top of the 7th, still down 6-1

Rodriguez in to pitch to start the 7th

Batting practice underway. Now 9-2, as Rodriguez gives up 3 runs on 4 hits in the 7th

In the top of the 8th, Rank doubles and Correa walks, but left stranded. To the bottom of the 8th, down 9-2 with Ben-Shoshana coming in.

In the 9th, Reidel goes deep (so, a home run and a triple today, but is batting….7th in the lineup? With the 2nd highest batting average in the starting 9?).

Ballgame, lose 10-3. Another 11 K game.

Maybe I'm not following it close enough, but it seems like the best-case scenario when we bring in Ben-Shoshan is that he only gives up a double.

And you could say the same of Hamilton, Vincent, Stratton and Rodriguez.

Aren't we glad we didn't use Hickson in a 5-5 game yesterday? What exactly was Jose saving him for? Jose needs to use Hickson the way Wayne used CSC-- you use your "bullets" when the opportunity calls, or you risk not using them at all.

I vote move on barring a miraculous turnaround that puts us above .500 for the year. Absolutely no improvement in Year 3.

Year 1: 17-39 (.30)
Year 2: 21-37 (.36)
Year 3: 9-18 (.33)

Or over Bragga’s two full years separated by Covid.
