i'd be happy with gibson jimmmmerson, kanaan carlye, peja stojakovic's kid, clifford omoruyi. not necessarily a high volume scoring option but most multiple offensive looks plus another stopper on defense. that is of course four people leave.

This would be pretty insane confidence for a team that didn't make the tournament to reach out to a Top 50 recruit as a backup plan.

So there are over 1k players in the transfer portal but 0 Bearcats. Does that mean we are good?

Rumor going around is to expect some excitement with Bearcats hitting the portal tomorrow.

End of season meetings for us should be about wrapped up, but guys might be want to avoid entering on April 1st for obvious reasons.

I'd call it a good sign that Wes has developed a great atmosphere surrounding his team. But the reality is, guys like Tolentino, Reed, CJ and maybe a few others transferring wouldn't be a bad thing. There's much better talent in the portal and losing those guys would allow for an upgrade.

I would love to know the backstory of what really happened in late January that entirely changed Vic’s status on the team.

I wish he'd had the season I thought he was capable of here. Still he was a solid contributor up until he got sick and things when downhill, then the ankle injury derailed him right as it looked like he was starting to get right again. Hope he has a great career overseas.

There was no chance he was coming back after going from the most important player on the team per fans in December (you know who you are) to being the 3rd big man option.

Per Sports ill: Edgerin James reports Jizzle will be returning to UC for sophomore season......Great News.......

In some broadcast comments earlier this year, Wes had opined on Vik's injury and the possibility of trying to avoid re-injuring it repeatedly. Maybe Vik weighed that in a decision to play for pay now as his window for competing professionally may be shorter than others given his injury history. Regardless, I wish him the very best and appreciate his time with our Bearcats. I'm sure his sense of humor will be missed in the locker room. Who knows, maybe we'll see him returning to a local comedy club with his standup routine in a few years.
