Dang it. Well played game overall, but Caleb Fields was too much and the Cougars never could slow him down.

3 of 16 for 3’s did Chicago in too. Fairfield had 8.

Really good effort from the Cougars. Had some nice wins and were in just about every game. Would like to see the roster stay intact and actually get some help in the portal. Next year will be interesting with a real possibility at a tourney berth. Keep building it brick by brick, Cougars!!

Looking at the box score, it shows that Brent Davis didn’t play. Anyone know why he missed the game?

I don’t know. And without watching live, I didn’t even notice until you mentioned it to be honest.

But I did notice it seemed like Coach Gillion subbed in and out more, and two guys at a time often times. He does that at times, but versus Fairfield it seemed to be a lot more.

Chicago State was definitely good enough to beat Fairfield though. No doubt.

I’m currently watching them and Seattle. Would have loved to have the Cougars in there though.

Some of his absence might explain why Cordett didn’t get the ball much. Davis and him worked together a lot and Davis always seemed to find him when he was open.

Now I just hope we get everyone back for next season. And the Coach.
