Is there a football schedule sweet spot?
I think so, the ideal schedule would have 4-5 games that you have circled, 2-3 that are easy wins, the others should be filling.

FSU meets the max threshold at 5 games that we got circled: GT, ND, Clem, UM, UF. On the other hand, FSU did not meet the easy wins threshold at just 1: Charleston Southern. The one G5 opponent is Memphis and they would be equivalent to a middling ACC team, like a 9th conference game.

I would category this as "over scheduling" for your average team, but pretty nice for the fans if the good guys win enough to achieve expectations.

Check out the schedule and see if your school lands in the "sweet spot".
