Everyone's favorite positive, sunshine-pumping, blazer talk poster got the clearance to head up to Spokane. I'm pumped. Who else is making the trip??

Yeah, the game time sucks… I’m having to fly in late Thursday night and fly out early Saturday morning.

Thanks! It’s not an easy trip to make, but chances like this don’t happen often!

I was in 100% for Brooklyn, and some of the other destinations. SLC is very easy for me to get to as well. I guess I'll save my Delta miles for a direct flight to Boston for the regional.

RE: Spokane
any time I think about going on a trip like this, I remember the time I had the opportunity to go to Columbus for UAB against the overall #1 seed Kentucky, and I passed...
and have kicked myself ever since

depending on game time, I might be able to make it to the UAB/Yale game

I hope to be watching from Honduras. The tip time may put a kink in my plans though.

In 2000 had to choose between a trip to see UAB football play Kansas and a trip to see UAB play LSU a week later. I chose Kansas because I figured it was the more winnable game.

Really wish I could make it to the game. My sister and I went to the first round game in 2015 when we upset Iowa State. She was in Med School at the time and I was an undergrad. It’s one of my best memories.

I’ll be in Charlotte this weekend for a wedding (weddings during March Madness may be worse than during football season). On a positive note, maybe I’ll try to sneak away and catch one of the games in Charlotte.

RE: Spokane
One positive of being at the same site as Bama and Auburn is getting good local media coverage. I've seen reporters from al.com, CBS 42, and The Next Round post about being in Spokane and showing footage of UAB. CBS 42 will locker room interviews on the local news tonight.
