I am sure you all got the email from athletics, but if not Hazem Maragah passed away. Hazem was awesome and always upbeat and one of the biggest supporters of Drexel athletics. He will surely be missed in many ways. Glad he has had a suite named after him for many years. I am glad he got buses down to JMU on his dime for what ended up the women's first berth to the NCAA in our history.

April 15th will be a celebration of life for him.

Yes, very sad to hear indeed. Hazem was my stat teacher in graduate school. We actually did a class project for him related to Drexel Basketball...I'm drawing a blank into what it was about, but he loved it. The Drexel Baskeball part may have outweight some of the statistical inaccuracies but still allowed us to get an A on the project.

He was always a great friend to talk to at the games and he loved his Drexel Dragons. The Hazem Maragah suite at the DAC with hopefully live forever in some form or another in his memory.
