Documents show this contract was updated in 2014 and remains in place today, according to CMP.





CMP also obtained emails between Planned Parenthood officials and UCSD discussing “research collaboration.” In one, UCSD tells Planned Parenthood they will “have results to share on samples recently collected.” They also plan to meet to discuss “payment to the residency program,” referring to an abortion training program Planned Parenthood operates under UCSD’s OB-GYN department. Presumably, the program is similar to Planned Parenthood’s partnership with the University of Pittsburgh, which has Planned Parenthood abortionists on staff and trains medical students on performing abortions.

CMP and Daleiden say they are still reviewing thousands of pages of documents connecting UCSD faculty and researchers to patents held by the University of California “as a result of its supply of aborted babies.”

“This new evidence shows Planned Parenthood sells late-term aborted baby body parts in violation of federal law, for far more money than has ever been discussed before,” said David Daleiden, founder and president of The Center for Medical Progress.

Transferring aborted human fetal tissue for “valuable consideration” is a federal felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison or a fine of up to $500,000.
