It would be nice to see By recognized, but the Dukes were picked to finish first, and App can from back in the pack. My guess is that the App HC will receive the award.

App was picked #2, so not back in the pack. No team really exceeded expectations this year (ODU just very much missed expectations), conference play wise.

So I think App State's coach will get it because they finished first in the conference.

Selfishly, would like to keep Carey off the radar. Like to have him back next year.

These awards typically are announced the night before the tourney starts, right?
The Keener-Rowe round starts Tuesday so we should see the subjective vote results on Monday.

Could be some extra motivation for players who don’t get selected or selected as high as they thought. First, Second, Third team are very interchangeable this year. I just didn’t see many players who looked dominant vs their peers.

I’ll be more interested in the all- Sun Belt tourney team. Who is going to step up when the pressure is on?

I would of nailed it if the SB had a Rookie team.

Troy - looks like a test in the SBCT and a good pick going into next year.

Coach By probably would have won Coach of the Year if he had at least
split with App State.
