Was it Tom or Tanq that was trying to convince us what a great SC pick that Ketanji was?

I thought you said tanq was is a good dude underneath all that BS he spewed for so long. As a mostly impartial observer, I kept looking for hints of that. Never saw it.
My impression is similar to Shere's.
to be fair, I have as well...
he's been quite the interesting case study over the past handful of years ... also, I don't have the weak spine ... if I dish it, I better be able to take it in return...
he knew he was diving into the pickle barrel on this board ... only he can answer why he chose that line of defense ... my best guess is the severest case of TDS coupled with his admiration of subjective law ... regardless, it was his choice to engage...
this is no different than when three of us left cous-cous ... we're now in the taste testing period ... and I'mma gonna have a fk'n blast moving forward!!!
I think he's probably a decent enough dude who took a beating here for having off the wall opinions, almost all of with which I disagreed. I think we put him on the defensive early on and he never adapted. He was out of his element here. I think some hubris made him think he was above the average user here and that bit him on the ass.
In the end I think he ended up in the bed he made for himself. Look at dudes like horses ass, he is wrong IMO on almost everything and he takes a lot of abuse but he keeps coming back and doesn't take it too deeply to heart. I can admire that in a man. Tanq was too sensitive for this place.
My opinion was he couldn't make a cogent argument without letting silly juvenile name calling get in the way. Very un-lawyer like.
Bedside manner sucked. That, and I disagreed with almost every position he had where I took the time to understand his point. If that was possible in the middle of all the name calling BS.
It’s one thing to have an opinion. No problem, whether it differs or not. All good.
But the arrogant attitude just kills it. It nullifies the kitchen pass. Permanently.
Good point. But when the name calling becomes childish and vitriolic, the fact that one has an opinion that seems contrary to common sense, adds to the agony.

And I assume the good citizens of Colorado voted for this moron? Way to go Colorado. Trump obviously doesn’t have a chance in that environment anyway.

All the migration from California has destroyed this state. All their bad ideas came with them. A lot of the decades long migration is young people, who we know are overwhelmingly liberal/progressive.

Doesn't matter what Griswold says. I'm pretty certain the Supremes will slap her case down while the rest of us laugh at her idiocy.

Beat me to it. She's either an idiot, or one more ideologue whose position will always be correct to her, regardless of the facts, or the Constitution. Sorta like some in here.
I don't think they are necessarily stupid. I think they just refuse to accept any position but their own.

Like some here...they don't possess the ability for independent thought or any thought that would go against what their dear leaders tell them. None of their "positions" are their own.
I guess a couple hundred thousand in "higher education" doesn't teach one how to think for themself.
