Silverfield obviously hasn't made it to the conference championship game yet. Therefore, playoffs respectively should not be in the picture. With road games at Tulane, South Florida, and UT-San Antonio, I doubt we'll make it.

Most likely but that’s not guaranteed. Cincy made the 4 team playoff.

You can’t get in by finishing 4th in the AAC

It would be huge if it happens. Next year's conference road schedule is much tougher-
@Tulane, @ USF, and @ UTSA. We'll get all of the AAC contenders on the road.

Looking at our home schedule, we SHOULD be undefeated at the Liberty Bowl.

Your opinion and I respect it. I just don't see it. Penny's shown he can win the conference. Ryan has shown he can finish 4th place.

I get that Ryan won a bowl game last year (lol), and Penny's team is trending the wrong way. So recency bias and all that. But big picture, I just don't see it.

Your opinion and I respect it. I just don't see it. Penny's shown he can win the conference. Ryan has shown he can finish 4th place.

I get that Ryan won a bowl game last year (lol), and Penny's team is trending the wrong way. So recency bias and all that. But big picture, I just don't see it.

An 8-4 season would be a let down to many but would give us something most living Tiger fans have never seen.

An all time program winning record.

About 10 years ago I thought I would never live to see the day when the Tigers have an all time winning record. Looks like it just my happen in my 76th year. I won't be missing any games next season.

So do teams that make the playoffs get bowl invitations as well ? Or is that it for the season ?

Yes he has. The auto bid is the tournament champion. You can win the regular season and not get in the tournament. Basketball is a tournament sport
