Simas can’t be the go to offensive player. Need an alpha next season.

You've got to be his agent. No one can see that much in this guy's game.
Here's one for you. Wing signaled be wanted to take vik 1 on 1 last possession... vik stood him up and forced a tough pass out.
I mean he's ok, but he's just not a guy you can rely on. Decent player - nothing special
i have my qualms about Vik. Needs to up his FT percentage, fight harder for position, help more on defense, and he does miss a few bunnies.
That said, he's easily the best post player and we don't do a good enough job getting him the ball in the post. He's better then decent.

I’d agree if it wasn’t for our dog water non-conference schedule and performance

i remember reading an article about how ppl used to mess with Dikembe Mutombo's legs when he would jump for rebounds. Make him think about the contact because when you're that big, there's no such thing as a small fall

Good timeout Wes! I'd take a two pointer here with trying to pick up a foul.

Did Skillings really just leave the guy who rebounded the ball?

God that’s so deflating.
I hope I’m wrong but making the tournament now would be miraculous

Can't blame Wes for this one, we got open shots, we got our best FT shooter to the line. We missed open threes and Simas missed FT's.

He has such a long way to go. That speaks to his ceiling but my god do we need him to get better next year. I think he will

I can’t believe Wes doesn’t have these guys shooting 1000 FTs after every practice. It’s cost us so many games.

Who says he doesn't? Maybe they're just making 673 of them in practice as well.

Is running an offense that continues to shoot 3's when you are 7 of 25 and not running low post offense/touches on the players or coach?

I’d have them back out on the court 10 minutes after the game ended

RE: #15 Oklahoma at Cincinnati Game Thread
FTs were the difference as both teams finished with about the same field goal and treyland %. That's why this league is so tough. There's a thin margin of error between winning and losing.
16/18 [89%] Oklahoma
14/22 [64%] Cincinnati

Free throws are going to lead to us having a lot of close losses.

The post is supposedly our advantage but we rarely run the offense through it
