Your'e right he is that good to make up for the hate he drums up from the other team...wait .. he's not. The refs should call all the infractions to the best of their abilities and they did... you are a Moss apologists.. good player but a clown.

You calling him a clown says more about you than him. He’s not a clown. He’s a hell of a basketball player and by all accounts a good person. I’ve seen him interact w kids during games as well. Plays with an edge, but will never understand the people around here that think he’s an issue.

You are correct, a clown on the court not off the court. Not sure why you would assume I was referring to off court.

You know what I was referring to. He’s not a clown on the court either.

UT's goal is to stay in the 2/3 spot in the standings and try to win a shot at the Zips in a championship game where they have the pressure, or get lucky and the Zips lose in quarters/semis. My concern about the squad is we haven't seen much "A game". We have some games where we are gritty on both ends and stretches of looking efficient on offense. However, even in our better games-imo Kent, Ball St, Marshall, W. Virginia, New Mex, Ind St, Wright St, Oakland-we have had a whole half or a long stretch where our defense doesn't get many stops, and some early or late game clunky stretches of offense.

We've got a core of solid 2 way players but lack really talented offensive guys. I'd say Maddox is a high level MAC offensive player and Simmons is a tough guy to handle but that's really it. Moss is good at getting to the rim and finishing and has the ball in his hands a lot, but his offensive game overall is average. Cochran has a clever fairly skilled offensive game but it's on and off and he's always good to force a few things. We don't have quality PG play. We lack offensive rebounding. I've seen enough B game to be somewhat positive but we'll need to find a new gear to get to the tourney.

BG game will be a biggie. Right now we're tied w them for 2nd/3rd and overall they are 14-4 largely off a fairly soft non-conf slate. Winner likely finishes the first round/half of MAC play 2nd. In addition, the MAC-SB return game pairings are likely announced after this game. SB has 2 top100 teams and then a bit of a drop off. Would be fun to get 15-2 James Madison or 14-4 (w a top 25 win) App St.

Good to have Brcic and Ford healthy again. Ford was hinting at a bigger role before he got sick. Brcic can't give us less than Wight and is at least good for a momentum building dunk, and1, or tough off rebound every other game. Wilson looked like he was coming around the first 4 MAC games but has struggled the past 2.
The Toledo Cochran plays just like the Ball State Cochran played last year.

Spurgin got a T for BG in a game earlier this year for the same thing. He hit a 3 in front of the opponent bench and turned and stared them down for a bit.

Probably one of those points of emphasis this year. 03-zzz
