Looking closer, I think he’s including the east side in his revenue numbers. That would highly impact Temple’s calculation, too.

Yes, he's including the health system in the budget numbers. If you look closely, every school that has a hospital has a much higher budget.

A better comparison would be % of university budget spent on athletics.

Anyone know where the actual number sits roughly?

Percentages can be super misleading. 1% of a ten billion is a crapload more than 10% of 500,000,000

I thought we were spending $33-35 mil as a whole per year, on athletics. But I haven’t looked at those numbers in well over 6-7 years. Managing to barely stay in the black due to the paychecks from the buy games. Or is that last sentence an ignorant statement? Not sure if that’s how those checks are counted or not

If I’m not mistaken Pumpkinhead capped the $$ spent on athletics at $20M after the return and we’ve had to fund the remainder. You’d think this would increase with the move to AAC but…

This percent means we have a 40 million budget which is actually good. That’s can’t be correct
