19 TCU o151.5
Cincinnati -3

Be there or be here. TCU is the fourth consecutive ranked opponent we've faced. NET 29. We've got to win one of these two home games...

FWIW, this may have been mentioned in the past but for those of us that have issues with ESPN+ refreshing/freezing on your tv screen, HULU works better if the game is available for streaming through that platform.

Really need to win this one. Lose and the pressure to win Saturday against Oklahoma will be enormous and almost overwhelming.

TCU coming off a crazy high winning a last second game vs. #2 with a court storming. Quick turn around and have to travel on the road. Should set up for UC to do well as long as UC shows up.

Going to be interesting to see what kind of home crowd will venture out in 11 degree weather to attend the game.

Alright, someone tell me what you look for with TCU. I saw that Jameer Nelson's son plays for them, which is crazy to me.

Looks like Vegas has us home dogs.

We were 2.5 point favorites last I checked.

Emanuel Miller might be the toughest matchup for this UC team in particular all season (certainly since Holmes). 6'7 and does it all. Gets to the foul line, buries all his free throws....converts inside and outside...Doesn't turn it over. He's the exact kind of guy that can give us trouble.

Protect the ball and win the offensive glass (to the degree we normally do) and I think we'll be in good shape

I see that the beat Georgetown by 1 on the road. Lost to Clemson and Nevada on neutral sites. Lost at Kansas by 2 (which I no longer think is a great feat).

They look very similar to us. Probably will be another razor thin decision.

I'd jump all over UC in this one.

Bolded, I agree. Calling it a must win this early in conference play seems hyperbole, but a loss derails the potential NCAA bid bravado, at least for now. What appear to be more "winnable" conference games after these first six look tougher too if Wes and our players can't make some modest course corrections for home court victories before sailing into February.

The last time UC played Jamie Dixon was one of the greatest college basketball games ever played.

Neutral Court game. UC won, squeaking out a high flying 44-43 offensive battle. UC's leading scorer was Justin Jackson with 12.

Jermaine Lawrence might have had his best game as a Bearcat....exploding for 4 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist without turning the ball over.

That game was completely unwatchable. In terms of offensive concepts, it set college basketball back to peach basket days. We were the underdog and it came at a time when Pitt was recruiting the New York City area with great success. So it was a big win for UC, but boy, was it ugly.

Thank God we don’t have rock fights anymore. Total turn off to watching basketball.

Just saw an interesting stat: UC is 12-1 when Skillings scores 10+ points. Hopefully we see a performance similar to what he put up against Baylor.

This is pretty much a small ball lineup with Simas running as a point forward. i know it's a big if but if he can toughen up and guard a 4, this would actually be a really strong lineup.
