RE: Stadium Tours (Cal Bears)
Stadiums used to be pretty open. Now, the local high school stadiums are locked up.

Mid-90s we were in the Bay Area. Walked right into Cal's stadium while they were having practice. This was before it was renovated. It was actually a bit of a hazard. Broken benches with sharp edges everywhere. Certainly a nice setting, but the stadium was a mess.

At UT it was open except during practice. I would run around the track (since removed) regularly. If you were there mid-day there were other people on the track and usually several touch football games going on the field. You might see someone running the stands. The West side included Belmont gym which was open to students (how they got the state to pay for a good bit of it). It also had football offices. Now the gym did have a lot of restricted hours when the teams were practicing.

Everything was a lot more open in those days. I remember roaming through the state capitol at midnight. Its a different world now with vandals and terrorists.

Seriously, what was the point of that long video? Let's walk around on day that's not a game day and find a bunch of locked gates and doors, until you finally find a way to sneak inside, just to take pictures of an empty stadium.

Why not take a guided tour, or go there on game day, or get a promotional video from the university?

These videos seem to be all over his timeline. So he just travels all over the country to see if he can sneak into empty stadiums? Can't imagine he's making the money back on Twitter.

Pretty cool. I hope the Cal fans enjoy their visits to the ACC stadiums and find it to be nice as well.
