The path to prosperity lies within the 5 inches between Cristobal's ears.

You have a schedule that you can run. You have all summer to get ready for Florida. You get a week off after a mid season trip to Cal. You miss NC State, Clemson, and UNC. At the very worst you should be 10-2 but more probably you should be 11-1 and play in the ACC title game.

However I think Cristobal will screw it up no matter how talent you amass. I hope you go 12-0.

TURNING OVER A NEW LEAF

I hope Miami goes 12-1, with a loss at SU. Miami is my second favorite college fb team.

Regarding Cam Ward spurning the NFL for now, I think you will see a lot more of this. Players can take the guaranteed NIL money rather than taking a chance to get into the NFL and not get drafted or get drafted high enough. We have all seen great college players drop drastically in the draft or not get drafted at all. Take the guaranteed money now and wait to go to the NFL draft. You have an extra year to improve and likely pad your resume and draft status.
