Boone to visit Washington and Mississippi

Mississippi as in Ole Miss??? They are very deep everywhere and a likely playoff team and maybe even a national title contender. I can possibly see Mississippi State who we play in Sept. That would be interesting to have him line-up against us. Washington had absolutely gigantic roster turnover so I can see him landing there and getting plenty of PT. Good for him. I hope he lands safely and rep's us well. Personally I'd like to see him go to Washington. I think that would be a great opportunity for him.

All the above announced transfers have been taken off the roster, along with LB Drew Covington.

So far this portal period has been relatively painless for UT. Yes - some notable losses but will they affect the W total - likely not. Let's see if UT grabs anyone as we now have 2 or 3 slots open.

Buried on depth chart. The problem is that a back-up will transfer and most likely remain a back-up wherever they go. To not stay a back-up they must transfer to a lower quality program or go DII. Obvious statements to us but maybe not to a younger guy less well seasoned or advised. I wish him good luck.

Haven't looked at this thread in a long time. Was hoping to see some nice portal transfers coming in since it opened back up. Not happening from what I've seen here.

Seems pretty full.
