Not sure why big12 would need to worry. The SEC already picked their most desired properties. The conference negotiated its deal at its most weakened position. Since then it’s geographically footprint has grown , with significant increase in markets, viewership etc. Its current deal doesn’t include Utah, Arizona, Arizona state and Colorado joining the league.

The conference is significantly undervalued. My guess is Yormack will reup way before the contract’s scheduled negotiating window
