Legit had no idea the game was early today. Sounds like I didn’t miss anything new.

Seems we are always the opponent when other teams break records

Summer and Fall practice was just a waste of time it seems. Two guys combine for 70% of the teams field goal attempts. Both are great but there isn’t much of a team aspect to this group. 6 assists on 29 made shots!

Getting spanked by an under .500 team while having your worst season in a decade

If anyone from the athletic department is awake it might be high time to start assessing the marketplace.

Gonna finish this 12 pack to wash this memory away while I watch the JMU-USM ending. Looking for some silver lining today. I hope I don't jinx it.

Tough team to pull for. Now that they know how bad they stink lit looks like they want to fight everyone. I’m waiting for a brawl here before too long. They are completely disconnected and look incredibly selfish on both sides of the ball. All the shots they do make are difficult. Terrible basketball.

JMU loses to Southern Miss. Takes a little of the disappointment away

So you guys have 2 very good players who can completely carry you at times. Its just that no one else is doing much of anything because the entire offense appears to be pass it to one of those two, and let them run an iso play and hope the shot goes in.

It was almost frustrating watching a completely terrible offensive structure randomly work on occasion because a good player hit a crazy shot.

I’ve been following the team for 40 years… this is the worst team in school history so I wouldn’t get too excited about the win. ODU will be lucky to win a couple more ball games. All they do is dribble on offense and they don’t compete defensively.

Am I looking at the stats correctly on this game? Allette and Jenkins take 46 shots and the rest of the team takes 26 combined? Watching the game I didn’t realize it was quite that lopsided. Actually Ceaser looked better to me in the last game than anybody did tonight. Of course the results were just as bad so I guess it doesn’t matter who plays. It’s too bad this team has no inside presence at all as they have some good backcourt players with some depth. But that’s about it.

I see we've now got player parents and other family members talking negatively about performances on the uni Facebook pages. Fans appear to be in open rebellion. This is getting ugly, and it never had to be this way. A forward thinker would have nipped this before it became a dumpster fire. Everyone here could see it coming. How was it allowed to happen? Someone beyond just Jeff should be held accountable.

With this team, the fans are still great. Good example: attendance today for Troy 2,889 for Ark St. 2,193 for S. Ala 2,141. It appears Wood still has the fans coming. I stopped there. Good job, Wood.

I'm not talking about attendance. I'm talking about open negativity and bashing on social media that is occurring with far more regularity than I can remember. People are fed up.

It does keep looking like they're playing for their next stops, but unfortunately for nothing else.

That's been an issue for too many seasons recently including this one. Some people commented on it being an issue before this season started. One or two others said we were wrong.

Allette and Jenkins are skilled perimeter players. I really hope both return next season and that ODU has a different coach. With those two playing a little bit differently, some better coaching, and some decent inside play the program would be on the right path to a quick recovery. Hopefully all of that happens.

As several others have commented on - there is way too much one-on-one with Allette and Jenkins working for a shot. Generally speaking, that is how most of the offensive looks no matter who shoots. ODU has made 11 more field goals than their opponents but have 75 less assists.

I hope the coaching staff is embarrassed. We are officially on the 5-25 watch. We are 18 spots away from being that on kenpom with our Adjem nearing it as well. It’s coming. Whether we like it or not, it’s coming. Might win more than 5, but the team will be equally as bad, if not worse.

With the Media or the fans? I will say the VP has always tried to treat ODU in a positive way.
