No - not when the premise of the OP was a comparison of the Russian economy vs economies in the west. Don't be obtuse.

Please highlight said comparison in the OP.

The IMF, Financial Times, Bloomberg, the European Unions own assessments, World Bank etc, their numbers are good enough.

If you dig down into those numbers, what you WON’T find is trillions of dollars of borrowed money propping up their economy and currency.

Balanced budgets, responsible spending, a strong central bank, non partisan decisions being made to strengthen the nation as a whole instead of short term economic tricks meant to get people re-elected, those are what you find in Russia.

There's nothing there in your links. Where's all the data? You make quantitative claims with qualitative "evidence"... Even at that, your qualitative sources don't tell the exact story you claim.

Don't know why I bother to respond to your threads when all you provide for evidence is garbage.

If you spent more time reading the links I have been posting, perhaps you wouldn’t be here asking for them AGAIN.

I guess you can research it yourself if you care so much. And if you don’t care, why keep reading and replying?

But Russia isn’t the one in hock to the tune of $35 trillion dollars, with no hope in sight of ever paying it off.

And the US, EU, and WEF aren’t getting control of Russia’s central bank, resources, or foreign policy any time soon, so the West can look for another source for the monetary bailout they need.

Russia pays its bills, lives within its means, budgets and plans intelligently. We don’t. Get over it.

It is really difficult, well nigh impossible, to impose effective sanctions on a country that supplies significant amounts of an essential product or two (like Russian oil and natural gas).

Not to mention the fact RosAtom brings in tens of billions per year, and runs the electricity production of dozens of countries. And there is their poor old antiquated space industry that brings in billions upon billions in profits as well. Neither truly count as “exports” in the traditional sense, but are still extremely lucrative.

But regarding more traditional exports, oil and gas are indeed large, but so are agricultural exports and fertilizers. So is software. So is steel, gold, platinum, palladium, copper, aluminum, and rare earth minerals. Russia is near the top of the world in most of those.

But there is also ship building, fishing, timber, and equipment for things like agriculture, construction, mining, etc. They don’t just import the same equipment that most of the rest of the world relies on. They make their own. Maybe that’s why their unemployment is so small.

Russia produces a wider variety of goods than almost any country on earth and are one of a tiny handful of nations that are very nearly self sufficient. Trying to sanction them is so futile it’s laughable.

Keep thinking they are a gas station posing as a country at your own peril. You’ll eventually realize how foolish you were.

I also see that the Russian ultra high end auto maker Aurus is expanding its lineup to modestly lower end and mass produced models in light of car makers like Mercedes and BMW abandoning the Russian market and sabotaging current owners in the process by withholding support (And pissing off a whole lot of people).

That, folks, is part of the danger of having everything overly computerized and unable function properly without periodic “updates” from the “home office.” What you thought you purchased, is really only yours as long as the company that “sold” it to you agrees that you are “allowed” to continue using it. Be warned.

RE: Russia’s economy grew faster than the country’s sanctioning them
Europe buying Russian oil via India at record rates in 2023 despite Ukraine war

Quote:The EU’s imports of refined oil imports from India grew to record levels in 2023 at the same time as New Delhi’s imports of Russian crude oil more than doubled year on year.

It means consumers in Europe likely received unprecedented volumes of petrol, diesel, kerosene and other oil products that originate from Russia via India last year, in spite of the sanctions imposed after Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

India has made no secret of its willingness to buy Russian oil in spite of the Ukraine war, maintaining good ties with Moscow while it has also courted closer defence and trade partnerships with Western nations.

India became the world’s leading importer of Russian crude oil last year, according to Kpler market data analysed by The Independent, importing an average 1.75 million barrels per day at a 140 per cent increase on 2022.

At the same time, the European Union’s import of refined products from India soared by 115 per cent, from 111,000 barrels per day in 2022 to 231,800 barrels per day in 2023, the highest figures in the past seven years analysed by Kpler and most likely the highest ever.

“It has worked two-fold - India has been able to buy cheap oil for its refineries, then it has been able to refine that oil and sell the refined products at full price, and into a market (Europe) that is willing to pay up for them because it desperately needs to replace the loss of Russian material that it has applied sanctions on,” Kpler’s lead analyst Matt Smith, tells The Independent.

Oil revenues are the linchpin of the Russian economy, allowing Putin to fund his military and replenish defence budgets to sustain a war that is about to enter its third year.

European countries, the G7 and Australia moved to try and prevent Putin using oil money to fill his war chest by enforcing tough sanctions on oil, including Russian refined oil products, and enforcing a $60 per barrel price cap on Russian sales to other countries using their ships and infrastructure.

The fact that barrels of oil originating in Russia are still rolling into Europe through a third market underscores the porousness of sanctions and the lack of robust enforcement measures.

Oil trade tracking companies say is impossible to distinguish which refined products originated from Russian materials once they have been refined in another country. But tracking the imports of crude oil and export destination of refined products from specific facilities can give a fair idea.

One such example was the Jamnagar Refinery in the Gulf of Kutch on India’s western coast, which is the leading destination for Russian crude arriving in India, according to Kpler.

The Reliance Industries-owned refinery accounted for 34 per cent of crude oil imports from Russia, receiving 400,000 barrels per day of, while it received 770,000 barrels per day from elsewhere.

And of the refinery’s exports in 2023, around 30 per cent headed to Europe.

“This is undermining sanctions, but it is also a grey area,” Mr Smith says.

“It is impossible to extricate Russian crude or products created from Russian material from the global market. Russia is also such a key player that the powers that the EU etc don’t want to completely eradicate Russian supply from the global market because it would cause prices to spike.“

Around 20 of the 27 EU countries imported refined products from India last year, with the Netherlands accounting for 24 per cent of the total volume.

It was followed by France which accounted for 23 per cent, Romania with 12 per cent and Italy and Spain with 11 per cent each. India also exported refined products like gasoline, jet fuel and diesel to Germany and Belgium with 7 per cent each.

Mr Smith says that the EU has been “walking a tightrope” between wanting to reduce funding to the Kremlin while making sure enough Russian supply is making its way onto the global market to avoid a price spike – which would be economically crippling for Western nations.

And that’s why they are so targeted. Those in charge don’t want any independent country that they either don’t own, control, or have extreme leverage over.

And that’s why Russia goes its own way. Because of the essence of what Russia is and has, nothing short of giving up all control of its resources, central bank, foreign policy, and defense industry will ever be enough.

No political decisions they make will ever be good enough for the West unless they cede control of the things I named above. No politician will be considered “good”’of if Russia remains in control of those things.

The only thing they could do to “please” the west is commit national suicide in whatever way gives the West control.

Russians have known it for centuries. Many people here are hung up on Putin, the Soviets, or whoever it may be that is keeping the Globalists away from what they want. But it doesn’t matter who runs Russia, what their policies are etc. Unless they work solely for the Globalists agenda, they will always be treated as enemies.

A strong Russia is good for everyone, except the globohomo agenda and more of what they’ve been shoving down our throats.

Just look at Ukraine. With all of the issues they are facing, a top priority has been to get transgender people on TV as much as possible, rewrite school books to make them normalize perversions of every sort, destroy traditional society, and to begin shaping them all into everything normal people are against. And the leverage forcing this is the debt Ukraine now holds, and the weapons need to fight a globalists war foisted on them.
