We have heard all week from Belt fans about their 6-6 teams losing to our 8-4 teams.

What will their excuse be now that their best team 11-2 lost to a 7-5 school and their other “powerhouse” 11-1 team lost to a 8-4 G5 team.

Always some excuse from that bunch.

They are going at least 3-2 next year and then you will have to make excuses about Kennesaw State.

Anyone know the conference single-season record for bowl losses?

They look pretty silly with all the crowing they did all season. They should easily finish with the most bowl loses of any conference. They had a few decent teams this season but their bowl results show that Liberty would have walked through that conference undefeated.

Since few conferences ever had large membership or number of bowls, it's only recently that that many from one conference went bowling. I think the SEC went 5-7 one year, maybe last year. The SBC will tie or beat those 7 losses.

Yeppers, AF embarrassed that "high powered JMU offense". Of course they're gonna have pristine records, they're beating up on their own teams. LOL

There's gonna be a lot of missing crows tomorrow, they'll be on the menu for Christmas. Ha, ha, ha.

Lots of folks on here was buying into the SBC all season, not just SBC posters. Wasnt hard to see if you watched many SBC games none were a cut above.

This is why I don't talk **** even when things are going good.

It makes matters worse when you have 12 teams in your conference going bowling and most of them are losing their games.

I agree especially when you watch games and can tell the G5 leagues are all about the same. You had a few like Liberty, SMU and Tulane who were by far better than the rest then a few at the bottom were worse than the rest. The others didnt have much separation.

Cannot lose a game that you are not playing in. I would rather win but I would rather play than sit home like lots of others.
Stop with the lib talk. Yall know they backed into a prime spot they do not deserve. I get that y'all need to ride those coattails for as long as possible but its just sad to see from y'all. Weak sos because of weak OOC and weak conference allowed them to sneak in. If they hang with Oregon, I MIGHT be convinced but it might also be that they got lucky.

Well seeing as how Troy didn’t hang with Duke, it’s clear the Sun Belt alternative was not the answer so by all means do tell us. Who did deserve it if not Liberty. It clearly wasn’t Troy. Or JMU. But wasn’t your board just crowing about how Troy should have been picked because the Belt was a far better conference? Was that before u started the bowl season 1-7 or after?

It took your conference champ a hail marry that only works 10% of the time and the feet slipping out from under a Western WR at the 4 yard line then a holding call and a fg....

The difference between Liberty, Troy, JMU and Tulane....a O-line that not one of those schools can stop from running the ball down their throats. Along with good rbs and a good qb

They destroyed ODU who had to choke for JMU the best team in the SBC to beat ODU. Run on back to the SBC board any make excuses as to why, why, why

Hell Western has destroyed the 2nd place SBC last year and the year before and all of this same type of talk from you SBC fans was going on....

bowl season comes around and you have to shut up because the SBC has no staying power...

I agree that banter attempting to justify conference losses is ok but weak. There was a lot of crowing by SBC fans after the departures. I read enough "dumpster fire" comments about CUSA by "kickem in the nuts fans" jeering LU's shed, CUSA being a FCS conference, and JMU being P5 worthy. Well, delusion became reality when the games started. Then the bowl games and further clarity became evident. Air Force crushed and dominated the supposed #1 rush defense. Congrats to the SBC for having lots of mediocre teams in bowl games, and a very overrated #1. Justifying losing by quantity; we had more teams in bowls so that's more important than winning is crazy talk and completely illogical.
