I've watched every episode, many of them twice or more. It is its own universe that could only exist when it did. I don't think it could work today and it certainly never translated to success outside of itself. It was one of the best TV series of all time.

Seems kind of at odds but I don't find Jerry's stand up to be all that funny usually. I don't care anything about JLD or any of the roles she's had since the show. Michael Richards absolutely made that show but he shot himself in the foot after and it's never healed. I always wanted to punch George in the mouth and every time I see him in some other lame ass show or movie, even though his character is different, I still want to punch him. Wayne Knight has probably had more success than any of them post-show.

I wonder if there's a list of stars whose careers were started or helped or along by having a part in the show...

Lol, hardly. A very close cousin of mine died from being queer way back when HIV/AIDS was still a killer. I needed no convincing before that and certainly not after. Queer is not normal.

And why wouldn't she, they become family. I have two large rescues who are starting to show their age. As much as I love them both I will be somewhat relieved when they are gone. I won't have another. I've had dogs as long as I can remember starting with a Collie named Rex who actually pulled me out of harms way one day when I was maybe 4 years old by grabbing me by the seat of my pants and dragging me to safety. There's been a steady succession of various breeds since.

It's too painful watching them go and sadly we inevitably outlive them almost all of them.

I firmly believe that dogs were given us as the most faithful and loyal companions we will ever have.
