It's Time to Retire the 88
I posted this on Herdfans too, but I think its time to Retire Randy's number.

The only thing I can think is holding this up is Randy getting into the CFB HoF. Once he is in it, we should have his name and number on the Press box the next season.

I do not understand some people disliking Randy for the smallest soundbite years ago because he was proud of his hometown. He is also giving back to Huntington by bringing in his restaurant. I just think it's time and could help mend any wounds that past administrations may have caused. Thoughts?

I 100% agree. He definitely deserves to have his number retired. He'll always be one of my favorite players of all time. Yes some people are complete rubes and when they themselves aren't successful that try to tear down those that are, even over the smallest misstep. It's funny you mentioned this at a time when FB users are slamming athletes by name. I'm so over that stuff. But yes, retire his jersey... it's time.

They have talked about needing to update the Pressbox with Kelly Green and anyway, so it would be the perfect time to introduce it.

I really hope so. 88 is forever Moss's number at Marshall.
