Last Night vs Houston ...
was the first game that I thought that the Grizzlies played with a purpose other than winning .... IMO, the front office thru Jenkins wanted a last look at everyone left to decide on who is going to get cut/traded this week (LaRavia, Zaire, Konchar, etc) ... No Bane or Tillman playing ... Short term as well as long term (keep Kennard ??) need to be made to free up immediate roster spots as well as approx $30m from next year's salary ....

Short Term - Loftin is waived .... Nowell doesn't get signed ...

Long Term - 2 of 3 get traded (LaRavia, Zaire, Kennard - if he can't find his shot) ...

LaRavia has not done 1 thing to show he is an NBA player

Zaire Williams has not been productive at all since he was injured

Kennard had a brief good spell where he shot lights out and was an asset to the team

I believe Williams may have potential moving forward and might have some value in a trade — if LaRavia is traded he will be traded for a bag of basketballs or a similar player who is a bust so far for another team

I really don’t know what to think of Kinnard

You may have to throw either Konchar or Aldama into the mix as far as tradeable assets .... You don't want players back necessarily unless its a 2 go 1 back with an expiring contract ...

Next season you'll have 2 players making $30+, 2 players making $20m+, and 3 more at $12m+ as the roster stands right now .... I don't see the Grizzlies adding anything other than rookies for the next 3 years or so ...

I pretty much watch every game and most games Iwatch the entire game . I have not seen much from John Konchar since he got the new contract. I’m still holding out hope that Santi Aldama will develop into a great player or at least a very good player.

The home game last night against the Houston Rockets was absolute bull****

I don’t think to Grizzlies are taking yet but damn , how does Tillman not play at all and Jake Larabia get multiple minutes during while the game is on the line?

Jake Larabia has proved over and over he cannot play at the NBA level

At least Zaire Williams has shown some flashes of being a legit NBA player- this team is not good and they seem to be playing pre season games during the season

Something is definitely afoot ... maybe a trade or two on the horizon ... that is the only logical thing I can think of.
