Bball Non Conference Schedule Update
We knew Toledo’s Non-Conference Schedule was going to be a challenge this season with some very good Mid Major Programs along with W. VA from the Big 12. As of today, Rocket Non-Conference Oppoenents have a 61-47 combined Won/Loss Record with New Mexico (8-1), Indiana St (8-1), and Vermont (8-2) leading the way. On the opposite end is Detroit who is pitching a shut out for victories at 0-9! Hopefully this competitive schedule will pay dividends once Conference play begins in January.

On a side note, Akron’s Ali Ali won his eligibility appeal today and will begin play immediately which will strengthen an already very good Zips lineup!

Season hasn't been boring. Might need some blood pressure meds before it's over.

I don't remember who was talking about it on the radio or TV show the other day, might have even been Coach K, but they said the MAC was down as far a conference polls. Looking at the rankings, as stated above, Toledo at 94, next closest is Akron at 105. Gets even uglier from there. If that turns out to be the case, I would hope the young guys get plenty of minutes. Experience for some, and fresh legs late in the year for others.

RE: Bball Non Conference Schedule Update
I prefer the RPI as a metric because it isn't pre-weighted in favor of teams who had high rankings the previous year. for that reason the NCAA uses it as a secondary ranking to the NET.

Toledo is 135 in RPI
losses to 12 Ind St, 25 N Mex, 47 G Mason, 67 UC-Irvine
wins @ 73 oakland,@ 155 Wright st, 172 Louisiana, 241 N Iowa, 287 Detroit

by RPI Rockets are 1-2 vs Quad 1, 0-2 vs Quad 2, 1-0 Quad 3, 3-0 Quad 4
by NET Rockets are 0-2 vs Quad 1, 2-2 vs Quad 2, 1-0 Quad 3, 2-0 Quad 4

in RPI MAC has NIU at 50, Akron 64, Kent 121, Toledo 135, Ball St-CMU-Miami-EMU-OU-BG from 200-260 with WMU and Buffalo 300+
