Dude seriously, do you even get how college baseball works. The conference weekend series are far more important and you are not gonna burn your primary weekend pitchers (starters or relievers) for a mid-week game vs Maryland. And news flash, I know this is hard to comprehend but P5 schools tend to have better pitching depth and thus more quality in their mid-week staff.

But oddly enough JMU still sits just fine RPI wise and projection wise.

Of course every game is extremely important now if we are attempting to get an at-large bid, but I probably don't understands how college baseball works either.

You guys clearly don't get it if you think coaches are gonna mess up pitching rotation and primary relievers for a 3 game weekend conference series for a mid-week OOC game.

If JMU had done so and beat maryland then goes 0-3 on the weekend b/c the pitching was 'jacked' up I am sure everyone would have been onboard with the thought process.

Ok time to shake off the midweek loss and bounce back on the road. Need series win tonstay in running for a top 6 SBC seed and bypass the first round of single elimination games.

Apparently we already lost and no longer are the Dukes.

Dukes now down 10-6 and 2 innings away from losing the series and any real at large chance barring a great SBC tourney. Also yes, extremely questionable base running again today.
