Nice game today gnats.

No dumb a$$, we said over and over that it’s an embarrassment to lose to such a $hit program like Texas State which is the result of our program in the dumpster…losing to Texas State will never not be embarrassing.

Lol even WE could beat Ohio. How embarrassing.

Exactly…GS is embarrassed by how many times the team has played down to lower competition, unacceptable. Programs like Ohio or TXST need to be handled before halftime…no excuse for allowing those types of programs to linger or worse, win.

Hate to break it to you bud, you are the lower competition now. Welcome to the basement, we leave the light on for you.

*for now…speak for yourself on basement dwelling…GS is still Top 25 all-time winning percentage, we are not the same but thank you for your interest.

Nice try, but Clay Helton has taken us to more bowl games in his two years in Statesboro than ULM had ever played in, and we want him fired. There’s still a pretty clear distinction between us and you.

Yes, but Ohio was missing a ton of players in the portal and Ga. Southern wasn't.

Correct, plus it was essentially a home game to boot for Georgia Southern playing on Coastal's field.

And the MAC is a better conference. Ohio proved that today. Miami about to prove it too.

Sorry to bump this but no we don't want CCH fired. Transitioning takes a minute. We'll do our best to put the fear of gawd in him until he get's the train on the tracks. Fritz suffered a sophomore slump. Lundsford suffered the sophomore slump from hayteez. Fritz had a 2 win season just three years ago. We're in good shape.

Yeah, forget the tons of other excuses posed by this troll, the field was wet, but only for Miami...03-lmfao

To be honest that's a bad loss for Miami(OH)....Buuuut with the weather being a huge factor and Miami playing with their 3rd and 4th string QB's the entire game, the result really is not that surprising. They played pretty well against a team that was in the SBC Championship and did not have any playmakers in the portal like Miami did....That was certainly not the same Miami team the rest of the MAC had to play. The calls also didn't really go their way either, so there's that.

Dude, you really don't know what you're talking about, do you? First you say that they are "trashy" schools, then playing with your 3rd string QB when technically App was playing with their 2nd all year, with freshmen and sophomores all over the field making plays. Several guys who made impacts throughout the season were in the portal as well.

Guys who made impact plays that were freshmen or sophomores in this game for App:

1. Santana Hopper - FR
2. Kanye Roberts - FR
3. Makahi Jackson - Soph.
4. Nathan Johnson - FR
5. Murphy - Soph.
6. Scroggs - Soph.
7. Dalton Stroman - Soph.
8. Caden Sullivan - Soph.
9. Markus Clark - Soph.
10. Mitchell Lake - FR.

As for refs, I don't know how anyone could complain about them. They called holding when it happened for the most part, they called the DPI on App, etc. The one issue I had was reviewing recoveries and calling forward progress stopped on a Miami fumble, which you never see in college football.

I said nothing about App not playing with young skilled players, what I did say is that Miami(OH) played with their 3rd and 4th string QB's the entire game. The first string QB was injured earlier in the season against Toledo, and their 2nd string entered the portal and did not play in the bowl, unlike players for App State that did enter the portal and still played in the bowl.... Regardless of whether it was one play or the whole game, it seems as though App was willing to do whatever it took to win the game, right or wrong - no matter how it looked. If Miami(OH) had their first string QB, they no doubt would have won the game due to his ability to both run and pass. Their 2nd string was not an accurate passer, but he still had the ability to stretch the field with his arm strength (long passes), and with his mobility. Both of which were lacking with QB's 3 & 4 who played during the game. Because of this, Miami(OH)'s offense was much more one dimensional then usual, and the weather certainly did not help. Miami(OH) had no one to take the pressure off of their RB Amos, and their running game, and yet, still managed to nearly win. This was not the same team that MAC teams had to face all year. Not even close. App was lucky to win. Not to mention the weather made the kicking game nearly non-existent for Miami(OH) as they most likely would have kicked a long field goal early in the 2nd half rather than going for it, and most certainly would not have missed their extra point. The season stats pretty much back everything up I am saying, so, yeah, I know what I am talking about.

And they just love them some SBC fans and teams, so not sure why this troll finds their way over to this forum.

There was a small skirmish going on at halftime of the Marshall-UTSA bowl game. What is it with all these SBC players that want to fight??

As I said, trashy teams and fanbases.

SBC = Trashy teams and trashy fanbases. Not surprising.
