Seems like a fun match-up and a good location for the players to enjoy.

Kind of presaged we'd get hooked up with Barstool, regardless the MACC or it's a lower market 5th placed MWC team. We already played San Jose, Air Force. The CW is looking to save themselves with "unscripted programming" so they'll promote the hell out of this. Also, Tuscon has a bigazzed observatory there, a fun connection for the university's well regarded astronomy dept.

I hope they don't dump stuff over the winning coach's head. All they have out there is cactus.

Literally everyone can get the CW. Is it on a lot of cable/streaming packages. You can get it with an antenna. You can even stream the CW on their website for free, without cable/streaming packages.

I'm almost positive the MAC pools all the bowl payouts and distributes them evenly. So it doesn't matter if UT get the lowest bowl payout or highest bowl payout, it all is the same.

Yeah, I have never heard the MAC changing that policy which takes all the bowl payouts, pays the bowl teams' expenses off the top and then distributes the rest (if there is any) equally to all 12 teams.

Because it wasn't available nationally on TV. CW, which televised the ACC took care of that.

I hope they spend more time showing Orel Hershiser highlights than the game itself. Hard to root for either side, but would be hilarious if BG beats them again.

CW reaches almost all US TV households.

AAC Champ 11-2 SMU gets to play 6-6 Boston College in Fenway
Wyoming in Tucson doesn't seem bad. Saturday 12-30-23 4:30pm

Hopefully the O-line does some work between now and then.

This will be a fun game.
