My wife is Italian-American and is from Youngstown, Ohio, a city with a long connection to the mob. As her older relatives tell it, back in the day if there was a known pedophile or a rapist in the neighborhood they got dealt with swiftly. In many ways they did keep a sense of order.

They also partnered with 1%er MCs which was also a cancer on society. Everything about the mafia maintaining order in communities was “back in the day”. La Cosa Nostra was moving away from the “family values” crime syndicates before the Feds gutted their orgs.

For sure. Sammy the Bull is a murderer and no one to admire. I just find it scary that he thinks the Biden Administration is a crime syndicate. It takes one to know one sort of a thing.
