Semi OT: Delaware Adds W Ice Hockey as Part of FBS Move
Delaware went big with its new women’s sport addition following the FBS move. Womens ice hockey.

Joining CHA

Quote: College Hockey America was established as a NCAA Division I women's ice hockey conference in 2002. Currently, the CHA includes six institutions spanning three states from the Midwest to the East Coast. The membership includes Lindenwood University, Mercyhurst University, Pennsylvania State University, Rochester Institute of Technology, Robert Morris University, and Syracuse University.

I have been waiting for Liberty to make a similar move for years. We have dominated ACHA for quite awhile. There has been discussion of bringing our men & women up together. But there is little enticement these days to add expensive sports like hockey to NCAA status.
